These cards were made by Elaine Daniels from Rhode Island. She used the Pure Innocence line from My Favorite Things. If you look closely, you’ll see that the dresses are done with paper piecing. You stamp on scrap paper and cut the dresses out to glue onto the already stamped image on your card. What a neat way to use up those scraps of paper, right? Click on each picture to enlarge.

I have always loved creating cards to send to friends. I began using flowers on my cards when I learned to press them and to combine the flowers with beautiful papers. The combination of the pressed flower and the fine paper seems to invoke a special spiritual magic.

I also believe that the changes made during recovery are spiritual in nature, and combining that journey with cardmaking gives me a wonderful gift to share. I also make mini cards, book marks, and journals. No two cards are alike as the flowers are seasonal.

I’ve been playing with card making for 30+ years starting out making envelopes – then creating the card to go with it.

In recent years – oh, the past five or six – I’ve really gotten into the rubber stamp part of making cards. So there’s a variety here. I love using the calendar pages for envelopes.

Also included here are three ATC’s - a passion at this point in time . I hope the enclosed will give you some new ideas. Happy Stamping! Oh, don’t forget to use the table as your “third” hand. It sure comes in handy!

This beautiful envelope was made from a Calendar and the matching graphic was used on the card itself.
